To place your audio in the Content ID system, it must look like a music release. Platforms have a number of requirements for data formatting and content, here are the main ones:

• The title of the published audio should be concise. Please remove all tags from it and leave only the name of the specific work.
• In the Artists field, you must specify your creative pseudonym or name in the form in which it should be displayed on the platforms so that users can identify you. It is forbidden to specify performers who did not actually participate in the creation of the work
• In the Author's Name field, you must specify the real name of the author of the work in order to collect royalties correctly.

• The cover must be of high quality, not blurred, stretched or pixelated. The minimum resolution is 1000x1000 pixels. If the image is loaded with a horizontal orientation, it will be automatically cropped to a square in the center, since the platforms accept only square images.
• The cover must be original. The use of other people's images without their permission is not allowed.
• The cover should not contain unnecessary text (for example, the website address, a link to a social network, and so on), it is acceptable to specify the author's name and the title of the work.
• Logos and other registered trademarks, including images of the platforms and social networks, may not be used.

• Only original music with all sounds recorded by you, or which you have an exclusive license to use (meaning no one else will use those sounds in their tracks)
• No beats, loops or sound effects downloaded from sample libraries. This includes any free sounds included in Logic, Pro Tools, Garage Band etc.
• No samples from other songs, movies, TV shows, podcasts, video games, YouTube videos etc
• No public domain recordings/songs
• No remixes/mashups or medleys
• No alternative versions (Live, Remastered, Acoustic, Instrumental etc.)
• No soundtracks/scores or stock/production music
• No nature sounds, ASMR, educational content, meditation, prayers or church services, speeches, audio books or other content that isn't original commercial music
• Even if it's legal for you to use these sounds, it's not possible to add Content ID to any tracks including any of these things.

• What is Content ID?

Content ID is a service available to Beatmaker/Label users that helps you identify when your music is used in a video on TikTok, Facebook or Neatease. It also allows you to monetize videos that have used your music without permission.

Only original music is eligible for Content ID, meaning samples or any other elements that are deemed a copyright infringement on platform's policy, are denied Content ID.

• What does it take to get Content ID?

To acquire Content ID, the material must be 100% your own. Therefore, beats and loops that are non-exclusive may not be considered your own and can not be provided with Content ID. This includes all copyright free sounds, since if Content ID is provided, other artists' tracks that have used the same sounds will also be claimed.

We know this may seem like a lot of rules, but it's just to make sure that the Content ID system works properly and claims the correct content. Also, incorrect claiming may lead to legal consequences for the user, so we make sure to only add Content ID to tracks which are eligible for it.

• When does Content ID start claiming?

When Content ID is added to your track, it will start processing every video ever uploaded on platforms immediately. Content ID prioritizes scanning the most popular videos on platforms before it moves on to scan the videos with less popularity and so on.

• How much will I earn?

You will receive 80%* of the royalties from the platforms . 20% will be withheld as an administrative fee. At the same time, it is not possible to calculate the exact or even approximate remuneration. It is determined by the platforms and depends on a large number of factors. In particular, the user's region, the length of audio usage, and so on. Royalties come together with reports that contain detailed information about the number of streams, regions, and so on.

* - Please note that the 80% rate will be applied if your subscription is active at the time of reporting and royalty calculation. If by this time the subscription is canceled or the payment is overdue, then you will receive 60% of the royalties from the platforms.

• When will I get paid?

Royalties are received 4 times a year (after the end of the next quarter): in May, August, November and February.

• What happens if I don't renew my subscription?

If you cancel your subscription or the payment is overdue, the Content ID on previously activated tracks remains valid, but you will receive only 60% of the royalty instead of 80% with an active subscription.
